My name is Brian, I got into woodworking about 7 years ago. I took shop in 9th grade and then took a general construction class at a local tech school my junior and senior year of high school. In between those 2 years I work in my neighbors mill work shop, which gave me a really good foundation in using a lot of common woodworking tools and allowed me to develop some core techniques. After high school I tried working out in the field as a framer/finish carpenter and found it wasn't my thing, I'd rather work in a shop then outside. I currently work part time for Home Depot as an electrical guy, took classes for that but woodworking is what I love to do. Opened my own woodworking business in November 2010 and enjoying all the time I spend in the shop.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
