Here’s a couple of pictures to show where I am right now.
I’ve made some fretwork for the clock hood.
And have veneered the lower panel and door with burl walnut and cross banded the outside of each.
I am currently painting the clock face with the time ring and the numbers. My wife will do the decorative painting since she is MUCH better than I.
I just finished the face time track. Here’s a photo.
I have already turned the hood columns and sanded them. I’ll attach them after finishing.
The rosettes will be brass flowers with a brass ball and spike finial on top. The carved rosettes weren’t good enough and time is running out. I’m hoping to display it in a craft show next month.
I am close to finishing and will show pictures when that happens in the next couple of weeks.
Have a GREAT day!
